Pregnancy
Alpine Ultrasound is able to perform a wide range of prenancy ultrasounds. These include:
- Less than 12wks
- 12-16weeks (not Nuchal Translucency)
- 18-22wks (including 3D imaging where possible)
- Greater than 22wks
- Follicular tracking scans
Musculo-skeletal
We perform all types of MSK ultrasounds, such as those below. We are unable to perform injections at this time.
- Foot and ankle
- Lower leg
- Knee
- Buttock and thigh
- Hip and groin
- Hand and wrist
- Elbow and forearm
- Shoulder and upper arm
General Ultrasound
General ultrasound is our bread and butter at Alpine Ultrasound.
- Breast (exclusions may apply where a mammography service is also required)
- Chest and abdominal wall
- Thyroid, neck and salivary glands
- Pelvic and lower abdomen (including appendix)
- Renal
- Testis
- Upper abdomen
- Lumps and bumps
Vascular
We regularly perform vascular ultrasounds for our patients.
- Abdominal Aorta
- Arterial leg and arm (exclusions may apply if a specialist vascular lab is required)
- Carotid arteries
- Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) leg and arm
- Renal arteries
- Superior mesenteric artery
Paediatrics
We are able to perform virtually all ultrasounds on kids, including:
- Hips
- Upper abdomen
- Lower abdomen
- Renal
- Pelvic
- Testis and groin
